Generally, it is becoming more difficult to obtain motor vehicle insurance in USA and Canada for foreign vehicles.

Please find below a list of insurers you can try for insurance for the USA and Canada, but please be aware it is not always straightforward, you may have to try several insurers below, online, by telephone, or through a local broker.

Currently, our clients are having inconsistent experiences with the insurers below, some obtaining insurance online without any problems at all, whilst others are having difficulty.

Please ensure that you review any terms and conditions provided, that any coverage offered is suitable for your specific requirements and circumstances, some insurers may provide relatively low coverage.

Be sure to check that on any insurance policy that you receive, that it does not have any terms conditions may invalidate the insurance depending on where your vehicle first enters North America, for example, some US insurers, cannot insure people in Canada (they just don’t have a licence to do it), therefore if you purchase this insurance and arrive in Canada before the USA, it could invalidate the insurance.
