We specialise in shipping cars, 4×4’s, Motorhomes, Campervans & Camping trucks to Europe from the United States (USA) and Canada offering shipping services on fast, frequent Roll on Roll off (RORO) and container vessels from all major North American ports including Halifax, Montreal, Vancouver (Canada) Galveston, Houston, Baltimore, Brunswick, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, Seattle & Tacoma (USA).

Arrivals to all major European (EU) ports including The UK (Southampton, Tilbury, Liverpool, Felixstowe, London Gateway and Bristol), Belgium (Zeebrugge & Antwerp), Germany (Bremerhaven & Hamburg) , Netherlands (Rotterdam) and many others.

Sailing times are between 6 and 21 days depending on the departure and destination ports.

*Please note there are no Roll on Roll Off services to and from the West Coast of Canada, the closest port is Tacoma in the USA or Roll on Roll Off services to Halifax, Canada on the east coast.

Import Requirements – Europe

Generally temporary entry for tourists is straightforward. Tourists can enter Europe with their vehicle for up to 6 months without the need for permanent import.

A Carnet De Passage is not required for entry.

Foreign Motor Vehicle Insurance

Insurance is required in Europe to legally drive on the roads, you can purchase Frontier insurance which covers you for all EU states at the minimum level required by law. Average cost is around €150 per month for third-party liability only.

Travel Insurance

We would strongly recommend a Travel insurance policy for travel in North America due to the high cost of medical services in the region. Read more about North America Travel Insurance.

Booking

We recommend booking North American services to Europe 2-3 months before departure due to the high volume of cargo on this route. To obtain a quote please complete our online quotation form.

Shipping Rates

RORO rates start from £38/€44/$49 per cubic metre to most North European ports. Customs clearance is straightforward and import costs are reasonably priced in Europe, expect to pay between €200 and €350 for temporary import of your vehicle.

Shipping from the West Coast of the United States can be almost double the cost from the East.

Container shipping prices vary but start from $1200 for a 20ft container and $1400 for a 40ft Container, excluding stuffing and local charges.

Cruise / Travel with your vehicle

It is possible to sail with your vehicle to and from North America and Europe on the same RORO ship.

The prices include full board.
