Should dealer stock go by RORO or container?
- RORO
- Usually the cheapest per car for vehicles that can be driven. Each car is driven on, lashed down in the ship's enclosed hold and driven off at the destination.
- 40ft container
- A 40ft high-cube takes two average cars, chocked, strapped and sealed. Takes non-runners and suits higher-value stock.
- Shared container
- One or two cars sharing a container with other vehicles, on routes where we run shares.
What documents does an exported car need?
We confirm the documents for each route before the cars are delivered.
- Proof of ownership: the V5C or title, and the purchase invoice
- For cars leaving the UK permanently: the export section of the V5C completed
- For cars leaving the USA: the original title, free of any lien
- Your EORI number for the export declaration
- The buyer's or consignee's details for the bill of lading
How does dealer shipping work?
- Send the list Vehicles, routes, dates and how often you ship; or use the 2-minute form for instant pricing on one car.
- Agree the rate A price per unit for the route and method.
- Collect or deliver We collect from the auction or your site, or you deliver to the port.
- Ship RORO or container, with sailing updates for every car.
- Clear and release Customs is cleared by our broker, a local agent we introduce or your buyer's broker.

Can you collect cars from an auction?
Yes, we can arrange collection from UK auctions and dealers on request.
Do you ship non-running cars?
Yes, in a container, where they can be winched in. RORO needs a car that can be driven.
